One of the most important missions of the Center is to provide academic and informative literature and resources on EU. Currently the Resource Center operating within the Center involves a library including more than 1000 books on EU Law, Economics, Political Science, Sociology and History of the European Union, which is the richest one in the South Caucasus in this filed. The library stock is regularly replenished with books on European Studies from famous European publishers.

In 2007 EU Delegation to Armenia granted the CES with the status of European Information Center (EUi). As a result, the database of the Center is regularly enriched with official publications of the EU including Bulletin of the EU, annual reports, statistical publication, normative acts adopted by EU institutions, as well as information materials on every EU policy.

Resource Center includes

•Specialized rich library on European studies, which is regularly enriched.
•European Documentation Center including electronic database on the EU.
•Computer Lab with fast internet providing free access to EU legal databases, research papers, articles as well as to various electronic databases of informative and research character.
Specially trained staff of the Center will help you to find necessary materials, print and Xerox certain amount of copies.

The service of the Resource Center is free and accessible for everyone interested in European studies.

Library Location and Opening Hours

The Library of the Center for European Studies is located in the main building of the Yerevan State University, next to the Central Library of the University. Such location provides easy access for the public and enlarges the number of beneficiaries of the Library.

The Library is open on:

10:00 – 17:00  Monday – Friday   (during the University classes season)
10:00 – 14:00 during the summer and winter holidays

The Library is closed on :

Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year
On all public holidays of Republic of Armenia

Any variations in these hours and closed days determined by Centre will be published and posted in the Library premises and the Web-site in advance. Fifteen minutes before the time of closing, all library services shall cease and the entrance shall be secured.
