On November 10-11 students of the 2021 cohort of the Master’s Programme in Human rights and Democratisation/GC Caucasus defended their theses. The Defence took place in hybrid format before 6-member commission made of Centre staff, academics and external experts. Students researched topics on Domestic violence, Refugee-like situations, Temporary protection and the Ukrainian Crisis, Cyberspace and human rights defenders, child marriage, art-activism in protest movement, Freedom of expression, Femicide and its Media Portrayal, Polygyny in Central Asia, etc. Each presentation was followed by Q&A session.
The Defence commission was headed by Dr Anna Khvorostyankina, Eurasia International University.
