Biography
Joined the Centre in October 2009 after graduating from Uppsala University where she studied the “Euroculture” Master’s Programme. Kristine also holds BA and MA degrees in English philology from Yerevan State University. She finished her Ph.D. studies in English philology (no defence). Her main research interests are: Identity, cultural integration, migration, linguistics and language policy, and education. Currently, she coordinates the regional Master’s Programme in Human rights and Democratisation in the Caucasus and oversees the implementation of the Erasmus Mundus Design Measures DEGES project that is aimed at the development of a Joint Master’s Programme in European Studies: Law, Governance, and Communications in cooperation with 4 universities in Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovenia. K. Gevorgyan is a member of the Erasmus Plus Higher Education Reform Expert group, HERE Armenia.
